Quick Shots
With the closing of Incirlik AFB, Turkey while their runway is being refurbished RAF Mildenhall has become quite the hub of activity. C-17s from McCord, Travis and Charleston lined the ramp as well as KC-135s from Fairchild and despite having to make a second landing attempt due to low level wind shear there was also a 747 from Atlas Air. Biggest score for the day: departure of an AC-130 SPECTRE gunship. Look out bad guys, here comes a little "death from above" headed your way.
