On the bookshelves... Aviation Photography: A Pictorial Guide

I am quite proud to announce that my book Aviation Photography: A Pictorial Guide is now available for purchase! Over a year in the making it is filled with images taken from Alaska to Arizona, California to England and many places in-between. Full-color throughout, it is a great introduction to photographing aircraft as well as figuring out where they are (or will be), selecting equipment to take on your aviation excursions as well as strategies on figuring out which aircraft you just photographed. Forward by Joe Copalman, co-founder of the Arizona Aviation Photographers.

Coincidentally I will be speaking on the topic of Aviation Photography on March 19th at the Pima Air & Space Museum for their monthly Volunteer Presentation Series. The talk will be held in the Stitt Auditorium (see map below) starting at 10am. The talk is free with your paid admission to the museum; Arizona Aerospace Foundation members are admitted free and there are discounts for Pima County residents, seniors, children (6 and under admitted for free) as well as military members. There will be a Q&A session afterward and I will have prints, the book and equipment available for viewing so come on down and let's talk airplanes!
